Ms. Christine Frischmuth

Poet from the City of Lindau

Christine Frischmuth was born in Germany in 1971; studied mechanical engineering, worked for many years in construction and project management before founding a fairfashion company in 2005, which she still runs today. Christine Frischmuth writes poetry and prose.

The poem 193 minus 1 originates from the lyrical cycle of peace, which she dedicated to the first winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Selma Lagerlöf. In her private life she lives with with her husband in Lindau on Lake Constance.
