Alejandra founded in 2015 a non-profit organization called Break The Silence, a project that aims to raise awareness about human trafficking, generating consciousness among civil society, especially in young people. She also has experience in social project management for entities like Spanish Red Cross, United Nations Foundation or Iberdrola. In Break The Silence, she works with political parties through influencing and driving local laws against human trafficking. She also involves in this process selected firms from the private sector that play an important role in legitimizing the problem of slavery. Thanks to her hard work aiming for a more fair society, in 2016 she was named responsible for the youth & sustainability strategy in the first Iberian-American Conference for the SDGs. Later on, in 2019, she was designated as local ambassador for sustainable development
