In the municipal elections in Bavaria in 2020, she stood as a candidate of the Lindau Initiative (LI), the Bürger Union (BU) and the FDP as mayor of the city of Lindau (Bodensee). Since 2020, she has been the mayor of the large district town of Lindau.She worked as a research assistant at the international law firm Freshfields (Vienna) and received her doctorate. She then held a legal clerkship at the District Court of Düsseldorf and passed the second State Exam. She also made a stop at the European Commission (Brussels). She then joined the international law firm Taylor Wessing (Munich) as a lawyer. Finally, she worked as a judge at the District Court of Augsburg, as a prosecutor at the Munich II Public Prosecutor’s Office, as a speaker in the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (Berlin) and as a judge at the District Court of Munich.
